Open a WIPO Wallet
To open a WIPO Wallet, you need a WIPO Account. Create a WIPO Account if you do not have one yet.

How do I open a WIPO Wallet?

Step 1
Fill in the Opening Form
Open the form and start filling it in. You will need to attach proof of identification (e.g. copy of company registration or passport).
These supporting documents must be submitted in English or French.

Step 2
Receive WIPO confirmation
Receive confirmation that your opening file, including additional information, is complete (different from the automatic acknowledgement).The confirmation arrives within 24 hours (Monday to Friday) if all documents submitted are correct. -
Step 3
Wire the initial deposit
Transfer a minimum of 200 Swiss francs (CHF) into WIPO's bank account.
When making your transfer, make sure to write in the additional information field: "Open a WIPO Wallet".
Make sure to use our updated UBS Switzerland banking details for all future transactions.Preferred Bank Details

Step 4
Receive your WIPO Wallet credentials and synchronize it with your WIPO Account
When we receive the funds, we will communicate your WIPO Wallet number and the credentials for your online access. Now you can synchronize your WIPO Wallet with your WIPO Account to start using it.
