On June 2, 2026, WIPO introduces PATENTSCOPE in its final regional prime webinar for CACEEC in Russian on the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) and WIPO Services.
The webinar introduces participants to key features of WIPO database and its use during PCT procedures in the international phase.

What to Expect
Organized in cooperation with the PCT International Cooperation Division’s Section for Caucasian, Central Asian and Eastern European Countries (CACEEC), Global Databases Division and the WIPO Office in the Russian Federation, this free webinar is the sixth in a series of Russian-language PCT events scheduled for 2026.
The session covers:
- Main procedural stages of the PCT and possible ways of using WIPO’s PATENTSCOPE database
- Key features of searching the WIPO global database of patent documents and tools available within the database
- Demonstration of simple search, field combination search and advanced search modes
- Demonstration of how to search for chemical structures in the relevant interface and
- Demonstration of the tools for creating an advanced cross-language query and WIPO Translate
One presentation will also include a section on search results, enabling users to understand how to generate and interpret them. Attendees can also participate in a live Q&A session at the end of the presentation.
Good to know: session language and certificates
The webinar is presented in Russian and intended for participants from CACEEC, although participants from other countries are welcome to attend. Please note that simultaneous interpretation services from English to Russian will be provided during one presentation and the Q&A session only.
Participants who attend the session can request a WIPO Certificate of Participation. To receive a certificate, please enter your first and last name in Russian when registering for the webinar. A WIPO IP Portal is required for registration. If you do not have a WIPO account, you can create one for free.
