IAP: Pakistan

Income eligibility criteria:

• Individual inventors, residents of Pakistan with an annual income:
  • below PKR 2.5 million, for a local patent filing (Pakistan Patent Office);
  • below PKR 4 million, for an international patent filing.
• Registered in Pakistan startups and SMEs with an annual revenue:
  • below PKR 7 million, for a local patent filing (Pakistan Patent Office);
  • below PKR 10 million, for an international patent filing.

Invention eligibility criteria:

• The invention, at face value, seems to be novel, inventive and industrially applicable, and it has potential for commercialization.

Documentation required to demonstrate eligibility:

• Copy of ID or other document confirming residency.
• Proof of annual income (for individuals) or proof of annual turnover (for enterprises).
• Description of your invention.
• Figures explaining the invention (optional).
