WIPO Director General Daren Tang visited London from May 3 to 6, 2026, where he delivered keynote remarks at the INTA Annual Meeting and held a series of engagements with United Kingdom and international stakeholders.
Mr. Tang’s visit to London highlighted the strength of WIPO’s partnership with the United Kingdom and with UK Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO), as well as the value of engagement with INTA and a broad range of global stakeholders.
Across the mission, one message came through clearly: IP can no longer be seen only as a system of rights, but increasingly as part of the wider architecture of innovation, creativity and economic growth.
