Slovakia has been a member of WIPO since 1993 and is a signatory to over 21 WIPO treaties.
The national IP offices of Slovakia are the Copyright Unit at the Ministry of Culture and the Industrial Property Office of the Slovak Republic. The offices are located in Bratislava and Banská Bystrica respectively.
