Moubadar’Art: A Milestone for Algeria’s Creative Economy
Moubadar’Art was launched to support creative entrepreneurs, artists, and startups by equipping them with tools to protect and commercialize their IP. The program successfully provided participants with specialized training in business development, digital marketing, financing, and IP strategy, ensuring that creative professionals can build sustainable and globally competitive enterprises.
As part of the closing event, the entrepreneurs had the opportunity to showcase their innovations, share their experiences, and reflect on their journey with the audience before being honored with their certificates.
" My participation in Moubadar’Art was a legitimate and truly enriching step that allowed me to deepen my knowledge of intellectual property. Now, I leave this incubation with strong wings and even greater ambitions, moving forward toward building an empire that creates, shapes, and inspires—one destined to become a timeless brand in the art of giving. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to this experience.” - Mr. Akram Belkadi, Founder of OTAJ.
“I want to express my deepest gratitude to Moubadar’art and everyone who contributed to this program and supported us along the way. Our cutting-edge virtual production technology, which optimizes costs and accelerates production timelines while expanding the global reach of our films on digital platforms, has earned many awards. With the first edition now completed, the Ministry of Culture and Arts, in partnership with WIPO and ONDA, officially announced the launch of the second edition of Moubadar’Art in March 2025. The next phase will expand its scope, introduce advanced IP management strategies, and strengthen Algeria’s presence in the global creative economy.
Nadjahi: Extending IP Support to SMEs from the Industrial Sector
Building on the success of Moubadar’Art, the launch of Nadjahi, developed in collaboration with INAPI, marks a new phase in WIPO’s IPMC program. Targeting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Algeria’s industrial sector, this initiative aims to:
- Leverage IP for business competitiveness, ensuring that industrial SMEs can protect their innovations.
- Integrate IP management into business strategies, strengthening market positioning and resilience.
- Provide SMEs with access to specialized IP advisory services, enabling them to navigate patents, trademarks, and industrial designs.
With Nadjahi’s launch, Algeria now extends IP-based economic development beyond creative industries, reinforcing its commitment to industrial innovation and technological advancement.
WIPO’s Commitment to Strengthening Algeria’s Innovation Ecosystem
WIPO's IPMC program continues to play a crucial role in these developments, offering tailored IP guidance and strategic business support to startups, creative professionals, and industrial entrepreneurs.
