MCST-WIPO Collaboration
Funding Support for WIPO ADR for Copyright and Content-Related Disputes
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) of the Republic of Korea collaborate with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center (WIPO AMC) to offer eligible parties financial support for WIPO Mediation and Expert Determination of copyright- and content-related disputes through the MCST-WIPO ADR Promotion Scheme. These alternative dispute resolution (ADR) procedures provide a confidential, efficient, and practical way to resolve disputes while preserving business relationships.
What types of disputes are covered?
Support may be available for disputes relating to:
- Copyright infringement
- Copyright/content licensing and royalty issues
- Collective management disputes
- Digital content and media disputes
- Video game and esports disputes
- Other copyright- and content-related matters
Who is the Scheme for?
The Scheme may be relevant to:
- Copyright owners and rights holders
- Authors, creators and content producers
- Users and licensees of copyrighted works
- Collective Management Organizations (CMOs)
- Entrepreneurs, startups and SMEs
- Video game and esports stakeholders
