Eligibility Criteria

 Registration of .cy domain names is unrestricted in the number of registrations. Some restrictions may apply according to the Registry’s Rules and Regulations

Supported Characters

.CY domain names may:

  • - have at least three (3) to sixty-three (63) characters, not including the extension “.cy” and subdomains of “.cy”;
  • - include alphanumeric characters of the Latin alphabet A-Z, a-z, 0-9 as well as the character (–), which however, cannot appear at the beginning or at the end of the domain name ending in “.cy”.
