The European Patent Office (EPO) notified the International Bureau that, in accordance with paragraphs 10 and 12 of the Framework Provisions that came into effect on July 1, 2012, it would commence operation both as a Depositing and an Accessing Office of the WIPO Digital Access Service (DAS) with effect from November 1, 2018.
WIPO DAS will be available at the EPO for European patent applications and for international applications entering the European phase before the EPO as designated or elected office. WIPO DAS will be made equally available for international patent applications under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) with effect from April 1, 2019.
