The DL courses are available in seven languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish), to anyone wishing to acquire knowledge and skills in the field of intellectual property (IP).
New DL Courses in 2021
Several new courses will gradually be made available for registration in 2021 such as:
The Essentials of Patents (DL-170);
E-Tutorial on Using Patent Information (DL-177);
Specialized Course on the Madrid System for the International Registration of Marks (DL-303);
Executive Course on IP and Genetic Resources in the Life Sciences (DL-427); and
Executive Course on IP and Exports (DL-730).

The WIPO Academy will also be opening its blended learning courses for registration in the second half of 2021. The blended learning courses combine distance learning and in-person training on specialized topics, resulting in certification in an IP-related skill such as IP teaching, licensing, patent drafting, and IP asset management.
