Notes:	The Constitution of the Republic of Cyprus came into force on August 16, 1960. It has been amended 5 times since its adoption in 1960. The Constitution contains general provisions concerning the protection of intellectual property rights (Articles 19, 122 and 171). In addition, it also protects the right to property (Article 23).
