- The applications of the Industrial Property provisions included in this Code (Title II of the Third Book), are suspended and superseded by “Decision No. 486 of September 14, 2000 - Common Regime on Industrial Property”, of the Andean Community Commission, except for articles: 539, 550, 554, 556, 557, 564, 569, 570, 571, 594, 596, 603, 604, 605, 606, 607, 608, 609, 610, 611, 612, 613, 614, 615, 616, 617, and 618.

- The unfair competition dispositions included in this Code were superseded by “Law No. 256 of 1996 – By which the unfair competition rules are established”.
