The Constitution of the Republic of Djibouti was adopted on September 15, 1992. It provides for a semi presidential regime where the executive power is vested in the Government and the legislative power is shared between Government and Parliament.
This Constitution does not contain provisions concerning the protection of intellectual property rights.
Article 12 of Title II entitled “Rights and Duties of Human Person” guarantees the protection of the right to private property.
