Notes:	The Constitution of the Democratic Republic of Congo was adopted on February 18, 2006 and entered into force on the same date, which marks the start of the country's Third Republic. It was last amended on January 20, 2011. The Constitution contains the provisions concerning the protection of intellectual property rights. Article 46 guarantees the protection of copyright and intellectual property and the right to culture, freedom of intellectual and artistic creation and that of scientific and technological research. It also protects the national cultural heritage and ensures its promotion.
