This Guide was produced by the State Intellectual Property Office to ensure objective, fair, accurate, and timely handling of patent applications and appeals. The 2010 Guide was revised from the 2006 edition and based on the 2010 “Implementing Regulations of the PRC Patent Law.” The Guide includes an introduction, instructions, language table, directory, index, revision notes, and appendix. The content includes preliminary examination, substantive review, international applications, invalidity, and processing.
