The Implementing Regulations of Copyright Law were issued by The Minister of culture and Information's decision No. 1688/1 dated 10/04/1425H (29 May 2004) and amended by the Decision of the Minister of Culture and Information No. 1640 dated 15/05/1426H (22 June 2005)).

The Regulations contain 35 articles and 3 chapters: general definitions (Article 1); protected works and the rights of public performance (Chapter One, Articles 2-10); liability for copyright infringement and procedures of detection and investigation of copyright violations (Chapter Two, Articles 11-29); and general provisions (Chapter Three, Article 30-35).

Article 35 indicates that these Regulations shall be effective after two months from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
