Year of Version 2010 Dates Entry into force: November 1, 2001 Adopted: October 3, 2001 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations Subject Matter Enforcement of IP and Related Laws, IP Regulatory Body, Other Notes This Regulation issued pursuant to Article 17 of Law No. 11/2001 of August 6, 2001, on the Establishment of the Customs Services of the Macao SAR, P.R.C, establishes the internal structure of the Customs Services, which includes an Intellectual Property Department (Articles 16-18, renumbered as Articles 17-19 in the consolidated version of the Regulation).
Article 39 of the present Regulation states that it shall come into force on the first day of the month following its publication. The Regulation was published on October 22, 2001, and therefore came into force on November 1, 2001.

This consolidated version of the Regulation incorporates all the amendments up to Administrative Order No. 44/2010 of June 7, 2010, on the Civilian Personnel of the Customs Services, which came into force on June 8, 2010, and the effective date of this Order shall be retroactive to August 4, 2009.
