Year of Version 2012 Dates Entry into force: January 20, 2013 Adopted: December 17, 2012 Type of Text Implementing Rules/Regulations   Subject Matter Patents (Inventions) Subject Matter (secondary) Enforcement of IP and Related Laws Notes Article 7(1) of the Regulation states that it shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union and 7(2) that it shall apply from January 1, 2014 or the date of entry into force of the Agreement on a Unified Patent Court, whichever is the later.
