The First Annual Conference on South-South Cooperation on IP and Development, organized in the framework of the Development Agenda Project on "Enhancing South-South Cooperation on IP and Development among Developing Countries and LDCs", will represented a forum to review the outcomes of the First Inter-Regional Meeting on IP Governance; GRTKF; and Copyright and Related Rights, held in Brasilia from August 8 to 10, 2012. It also provided guidance to the upcoming meetings to be organized under the project.

The Annual Conference was open to policy makers, government officials and representatives of IP Offices from developing countries, LDCs and other interested member states.
