Activities by unit

WIPO's organizational structure consists mainly of seven Sectors, each headed by a senior manager at the level of Deputy Director General (DDG) or Assistant Director General (ADG), under the overall leadership of the Director General.

The Sectors comprise units, generally called Divisions or Departments, which are led by Directors and which are responsible for carrying out all the activities required to deliver the programs and results approved by our member states in the biennial Program and Budget.
