You can renounce protection for all the goods and services for some (but not all) Madrid System members covered in your international trademark registration (“asset“), directly through your eMadrid workbench:
- Log in to eMadrid with your WIPO Account
- Go to “Manage your trademarks” to access your workbench
- Click on the three dots (“…”) to the right of the relevant international trademark registration ("asset") – or open the asset directly in your workbench and click “Manage trademark”
- Select “Renounce protection”
- Follow the prompts to complete your request.
The goods and services will still be listed in your international trademark registration but will no longer have any effect in the Madrid System members for which you requested renunciation. You may later request to expand protection to those members.
