The objective of this webinar is to shed light on accessibility metadata. The publishing industry embeds accessibility metadata in e-books and other online publications to describe the features that facilitate the reading experience for people who are blind, have low vision or are otherwise print disabled. Four speakers will share their perspectives on how accessibility is being defined in international e-publishing standards, how metadata is embedded in publications, how libraries are using metadata to improve service to their users that are print disabled, and how these readers benefit from accessibility metadata.

Ce webinaire présentera la gestion des données relatives aux droits dans le secteur audiovisuel, notamment l’International Documentation on Audiovisual works (IDA). L’IDA est une base de données internationale centralisée qui facilite l’identification des œuvres audiovisuelles et des titulaires de droits. Elle vise à simplifier l’identification des œuvres audiovisuelles à l’échelle internationale et à améliorer les échanges d’informations transfrontières entre les organisations de gestion collective membres. L’IDA est un outil élaboré par la Confédération internationale des sociétés d’auteurs et compositeurs (CISAC), et géré par une des organisations de gestion collective françaises membres de la CISAC, la Société des auteurs et compositeurs dramatiques (SACD).
