During the webinar participants will discuss the role of intellectual property in the modern sports industry. As the commercial value of sports continues to grow rapidly, the protection of brands, broadcasting rights, technologies, and digital content is becoming increasingly important. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn more about the activities of the World Intellectual Property Organization.
During the event a WIPO expert will address the importance of trademarks and copyright, including the protection of club symbols, merchandise licensing, and other aspects of sports brand commercialization. Special attention will be given to the digital transformation of sports, including issues related to streaming rights and the use of athletes’ data.
The webinar will be held in Russian. During the webinar participants will have an opportunity to ask a specialist the questions you might have.
