Managing International Trademark Registrations – Change Holder Details

You can change the holder's name and/or address (as recorded in the International Register) directly through your eMadrid workbench, for one or multiple international trademark registrations (“assets“) that share the same holder name. Important: this is not the same as changing ownership!

To request a change to one asset:

  1. Log in to eMadrid with your WIPO Account
  2. Go to “Manage your trademarks” to access your workbench
  3. Click on the three dots (“…”) to the right of the relevant asset – or open the asset directly in your workbench and click “Manage trademark”
  4. Choose “Change holder details” 
  5. Follow the prompts to complete your request.

To request a change to multiple assets:

  1. Log in to eMadrid with your WIPO Account
  2. Go to “Manage your trademarks” to access your workbench
  3. Select the relevant assets in your workbench
  4. Click “Manage selected”
  5. Choose “Change holder details” 
  6. Follow the prompts to complete your request.
