الصحة العالمية والملكية الفكرية
ساهم الابتكار العلمي والتكنولوجي في تحقيق تقدم كبير في مجال الصحة العامة. والتحدي الذي يواجهه واضعو السياسات هو تهيئة بيئة تحفز على الابتكار في مجال الصحة مع ضمان فرص أكثر للحصول على منتجات جديدة وأكثر فعالية لتلبية الاحتياجات الصحية العالمية القائمة.
ويسعى برنامج الويبو للتحديات العالمية إلى إذكاء الوعي بالروابط المعقدة بين الصحة العالمية والوصول إلى التكنولوجيات الطبية والابتكار ونقل التكنولوجيا والتجارة وفهم تلك الروابط. والهدف هو الاستفادة من الملكية الفكرية باعتبارها أداة تساهم في تلبية احتياجات العالم الصحية الأكثر إلحاحا.
