The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Dr. Kamil Idris, met with the President of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Н. Е. Mr. Branko Crvenkovski on May 2, 2007, for talks on the strategic importance of intellectual property in promoting economic development and wealth creation. The Director General also met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Antonio Milososki, the Minister of Culture, Mr. Arifhikmet Dzemaili, the Minister of Justice, Mr. Mihajlo Manevski and other top officials during his visit which focused on ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between the country and WIPO. In addition, the Director General received an honorary doctorate degree from the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in recognition of his contribution to the promotion of intellectual property as a tool for development.
El 2 de mayo, el Director General de la Organización Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual (OMPI), Dr. Kamil Idris, se reunió con el Presidente de la ex República Yugoslava de Macedonia, S.E. Sr. Branko Crvenkovski, para examinar la importancia estratégica de la propiedad intelectual (P.I.) en el fomento del desarrollo económico y la creación de riqueza. Durante su visita, que se centró en las maneras de seguir consolidando las relaciones bilaterales entre ese país y la OMPI, el Director General se reunió también con el Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores, Sr. Antonio Milososki, el Ministro de Cultura, Sr. Arifhikmet Dzemaili, el Ministro de Justicia, Sr. Mihajlo Manevski y otros funcionarios de alto nivel. Además, el Director General recibió un doctorado honoris causa de la Universidad Santos Cirilo y Metodio, en reconocimiento de su contribución a la promoción de la P.I. como instrumento de desarrollo.
Le 2 mai 2007, le Directeur général de l'Organisation Mondiale de la Propriété Intellectuelle (OMPI), M. Kamil Idris, a rencontré le président de l'ex République yougoslave de Macédoine, S. E. M. Branko Crvenkovski, pour des entretiens sur l'importance stratégique de la propriété intellectuelle dans la promotion du développement économique et de la création de richesses. Il a aussi rencontré le ministre des affaires étrangères, M. Antonio Milososki, le ministre de la culture, M. Arifhikmet Dzemaili, le ministre de la justice, M. Mihajlo Manevski, ainsi que d'autres hauts responsables à l'occasion de cette visite qui a porté essentiellement sur les moyens de renforcer les relations bilatérales entre l'ex République yougoslave de Macédoine et l'OMPI. Par ailleurs, le directeur général a reçu le titre de docteur honoris causa, décerné par l'Université Ss. Cyril et Methodius en reconnaissance de sa contribution à la promotion de la propriété intellectuelle en tant qu'instrument de développement.

أصبح مكتب الدولة للملكية الفكرية لجمهورية الصين في الأول من مايو/أيار 2007 أحدث مكتب يعتمد البرنامج الحاسوبي للإيداع الإلكتروني تيسيراً لإيداع طلبات البراءات الدولية بناء على معاهدة التعاون بشأن البراءات التي تديرها المنظمة العالمية للملكية الفكرية (الويبو). ومعاهدة التعاون بشأن البراءات هي حجر الأساس الذي يقوم عليه نظام البراءات الدولي وهي وسيلة سريعة ومرنة وفعالة من حيث التكلفة للحصول على الحماية بموجب البراءة في 137 بلدا.
The State Intellectual Property Office of China (SIPO) became on May 1, 2007, the most recent office to introduce software that enables electronic filing of international patent applications under the World Intellectual Property Organization's (WIPO) Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), the cornerstone of the international patent system which offers a rapid, flexible and cost-effective way to obtain patent protection in up to 137 countries.
El 1 de mayo, la Oficina Estatal de Propiedad Intelectual de China (SIPO) se ha convertido en la última en introducir un programa informático que permite la presentación electrónica de solicitudes internacionales de patente en virtud del Tratado de Cooperación en materia de Patentes (PCT) de la Organización Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual (OMPI), la piedra angular del sistema internacional de patentes que ofrece una manera rápida, flexible y económica de obtener protección por patente en hasta 137 países.

Dlamini, on Monday April 30, 2007 for talks on the strategic importance of intellectual property in promoting wealth creation, social development and cultural enrichment in Swaziland, as well as cooperation for development activities.
El lunes 30 de abril, el Director General de la Organización Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual (OMPI), Dr. Kamil Idris, se reunió con el Primer Ministro de Swazilandia, el Excmo. Sr. A. T. Dlamini, para conversar sobre la importancia estratégica de la propiedad intelectual en el fomento de la creación de riqueza, el desarrollo social y el enriquecimiento cultural en Swazilandia, así como de las actividades de cooperación para el desarrollo.

تسلم المدير العام للمنظمة العالمية للملكية الفكرية (الويبو)، الدكتور كامل إدريس، يوم 28 أبريل/نيسان 2007، شهادة دكتوراه فخرية في القانون من جامعة الخرطوم، المؤسسة الأكاديمية الرائدة في السودان، تقديرا لمساهمته البارزة في الترويج للملكية الفكرية كأداة للتنمية واعترافا بالخدمات التي أداها لفائدة بلده. وقد سلم السيد علي عثمان محمد طه، نائب رئيس جمهورية السودان، الشهادة للمدير العام بحضور عدد من الوزراء ومن بينهم وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي، السيد بيتر نيوت كوت، ومسؤولين كبار في الحكومة والجامعة ودبلوماسيين أجانب وطلاب.
The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Dr. Kamil Idris, received on April 28, 2007 an Honorary Doctorate of Law degree from Sudan's leading academic institution, the University of Khartoum, for his outstanding contribution to the promotion of intellectual property as a tool for development and in recognition of dedicated service to his country, Sudan. The degree was presented to the Director General by Mr. Ali Osman Mohamad Taha, Vice President of the Republic of Sudan, in the presence of a number of ministers, including the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Peter Niyot Kot, and other top Government and University officials, foreign diplomats and students.
El 28 de abril, el Director General de la Organización Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual (OMPI), Dr. Kamil Idris, fue investido Doctor honoris causa en derecho por la Universidad de Jartum, principal institución académica del Sudán, en reconocimiento a su destacada contribución al fomento de la propiedad intelectual como herramienta de desarrollo y por sus abnegados servicios a Sudán. El Director General recibió el título de manos del Sr. Ali Osman Mohamad Taha, Vicepresidente de la República del Sudán en presencia de varios ministros, entre ellos el Ministro de Educación Superior e Investigaciones Científicas, Sr. Meter Niyot Kot, y de otros altos funcionarios del gobierno y autoridades de la universidad, diplomáticos extranjeros y estudiantes.
