- The 2017 update covers numbering systems used in the IP offices of the following countries: AT, AU, BE, CN, DE, EP, ES, GB, HR, IE, IT, JP, KR, MD, PL, RU, SA, SE, SK, and US
- Part 7.3 - Examples and kinds of patent documents:
- The 2022 update covers patent documents published by the offices of the following countries: ES.
- The 2020 update covers patent documents published by the offices of the following countries: IE.
- The 2016 update covers patent documents published by the offices of the following countries: SE.
- The 2015 update covers patent documents published by the offices of the following countries: AU, ES and SE.
- The 2014 update covers patent documents published by the offices of the following countries: CU, ES, MD, RU (& SU) and GB.
- Part 7.3.3 has been incorporated in Part 7.3.2 in order to facilitate access to corresponding samples of first pages.
- The 2011 update covers patent documents published by the offices of the following countries and organization: AT, CH, CN, CU, ES, IS, MD, PL, RO, RU (& SU), UA and WO.
- Furthermore, multiple editorial changes to specific wordings in a number of entries to Parts 7.3.1, 7.3.2 and 7.3.3, as well as new formatting, have been introduced by the International Bureau.
