全球创新指数
2025年全球创新指数（GII）在全球经济增长稳定而缓慢、创新资金削减和生产力增长乏力的背景下，为创新把脉。它揭示了世界上最具创新性的经济体，对约130个经济体的创新表现进行了排名，同时强调了创新的优势和劣势。
为了尽可能全面地反映创新情况，该指数由大约80项指标组成，其中包括对每个经济体的政治环境、教育、基础设施和知识创造进行衡量的指标。
GII提供的各个衡量指标有助于监测表现，并以同一地区或同一收入组的经济体为基准，对发展情况进行衡量。

GII Innovation measurement at the regional, provincial or city level
The GII support better innovation measurement and policy at the sub-regional (regional, provincial or city) level. The Innovation cluster ranking of the Global Innovation Index identifies the top geographical areas around the world with the highest density of inventors, scientific authors and venture capitalist deals. In turn, the WIPO toolkit on “Enabling Innovation Measurement at the Sub-National Level” supports WIPO member states wishing to construct sub-national innovation metrics or indices, by discussing (i) which GII indicators are fit for purpose at the sub-national level; (ii) the existing sub-national innovation indices of Brazil, China, Colombia, the EU, India and Viet Nam and (iii) novel big innovation data fit for measuring local innovation.

自2007年创立以来，全球创新指数塑造了衡量创新的议程，成为经济决策的基石，越来越多的政府系统地分析其年度GII结果，并制定政策措施以改善其表现。
全球创新指数每年发布一次，其核心内容提供了衡量表现的标准，并对132个经济体的创新生态系统进行排名。该指数以丰富的数据集——在国际上从公私来源收集的81个指标——为依据，超越了传统的创新措施，因为创新的定义已经扩展。
此外，GII还查明了全球百强科技集群。
