Le service de dépôt électronique du système de Madrid devient l’option par défaut pour le dépôt des demandes d’enregistrement international de marques auprès de l’USPTO

The Madrid System’s e-Filing service is now the default platform for US applicants filing new international trademark applications based on US trademark applications or registrations – replacing the USPTO’s former Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi).

436 international trademark applications have already been filed by US applicants through Madrid e-Filing since its soft launch on July 31, 2026.

What is Madrid e-Filing?

Madrid e-Filing lets applicants:

  • File online
  • Communicate directly with their Office of Origin
  • Receive and respond to irregularity notices issued by WIPO.

The service imports key information from the applicant’s basic trademark application or registration, saving time and reducing the risk of filing errors.

You need a WIPO Account to use Madrid e-Filing. Don’t have one? Create a WIPO Account before starting your application.

Tip: Use the same email address for your WIPO Account, your Madrid e-Filing application, and any international trademark registrations you hold or manage. This helps eMadrid connect your applications and registrations to your personal eMadrid workbench, where you can track status, access documents, manage payments, receive notifications, and collaborate with colleagues or representatives. Your WIPO Account also gives you access to all the Madrid System’s online tools and services available through eMadrid for managing and monitoring international trademark registrations.
