注 This consolidated version of the Mediation Act 2017 incorporates all amendments up to the Courts (Civil and Criminal Justice) Reform Act 2021, which entered into force on different dates: April 1, 2022; June 30, 2022; July 1, 2022; October 1, 2022; and October 15, 2024. Article 155, under Part 14 entitled "Amendments to Other Acts" of the said amending Act (No. 25 of 2021), introduced amendments (in force on April 1, 2022) to Sections 9(3), 10, 11(1)–(2), and the heading of Section 11 in this consolidated version, replacing the word “leave” with “permission.”
