注 This consolidated version of the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore Act 2001 incorporates amendments up to the Copyright Act 2021 (Act No. 22 of 2021), which entered into force on multiple dates (November 21, 2021; April 1, 2022; and May 1, 2024). The Copyright Act 2021 introduces amendments to the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore Act 2001 on two separate occasions (November 21, 2021, and May 1, 2024). Section 507, entitled “Related and consequential amendments, etc.”, of the said amending Act No. 22 of 2021 introduces amendments on May 1, 2024, by inserting, immediately after item 4 in the Third Schedule entitled “Offences Under Written Law”, the following item: “5. Part 9, Division 2 of the Copyright Act 2021.”
