SADC Technology Transfer Mentorship Program: Building Regional Capacity
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), with support from the FIT Japan IP Global (FIT/JP), has successfully implemented a Technology Transfer Mentorship Program aimed at establishing a robust regional network of Technology Transfer Offices (TTOs) across the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Member States.
Building on the foundation of an impactful on-the-job training (OJT) initiative conducted in 2023, supported by FIT /JP and the Southern African Research and Innovation Managers Association (SARIMA), this program represents the next critical phase in developing regional technology transfer expertise.
