National Seminar on Intellectual Property Policy for Universities and Research Institutions in Vologda

On March 3 and 4, the National Seminar IP Policy for Universities and Research Institutes took place in Vologda, Russian Federation.

World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) representatives made presentations to specialists and employees of universities and research institutions in the region on the following topics:

• WIPO Global Services;
• Capacity Building Programs;
• WIPO IP Policy for Universities and Research Institutions in the Russian Federation.

WIPO experts also took part in a panel discussion on the current situation regarding intellectual property (IP) regulations in universities and research institutions in the region and answered all the questions regarding the issue.

All participants of the event received practical information and recommendations on the topic.

The seminar was organized by WIPO in cooperation with the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent), Government of the Vologda Oblast and Vologda State University.
