WIPO Hosts Regional Webinar in Russian for CACEEC on Women Innovators and the Benefits of the PCT

On September 29, 2026, WIPO holds a regional webinar in Russian for participants in CACEEC to highlight the opportunities for women in intellectual property (IP) and explore how the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) can support women innovators in protecting and commercializing their inventions.

The webinar will showcase the role of women in driving innovation and demonstrate how the PCT can help simplify the process of seeking patent protection internationally. Participants will also hear firsthand from women inventors who have leveraged IP to advance their research, protect their innovations, and bring their ideas to market.

This free webinar is organized in cooperation with the PCT International Cooperation Division’s Section for Caucasian, Central Asian and Eastern European Countries (CACEEC) and the WIPO Office in the Russian Federation. It is the ninth in a series of Russian-language PCT events scheduled for 2026.

The webinar is presented in Russian and is intended for participants from CACEEC, though participants from other countries are welcome to attend.

Participants who attend the session can request a WIPO Certificate of Participation. To receive a certificate, please enter your first and last name in Russian when registering for the webinar. A WIPO IP Portal account is required to register. If you do not have a WIPO account, you can create one for free.
