WIPO Hosts Regional Webinar in Russian for CACEEC on managing PCT applications with ePCT

On October 15, 2026, WIPO holds a regional webinar in Russian for participants in CACEEC to introduce the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) System and provide a live demonstration of the ePCT System, showing how it can be used to manage a PCT application during the international phase.

What to Expect

This free webinar is organized in cooperation with the PCT International Cooperation Division’s Section for Caucasian, Central Asian and Eastern European Countries (CACEEC), PCT Operations Division and the WIPO Office in the Russian Federation. It is the tenth in a series of Russian-language PCT events scheduled for 2026.

The live demonstration shows participants how to:

  • create an ePCT account 
  • set up strong authentication methods
  • request and manage access rights in ePCT
  • file a request for the recording of changes under PCT Rule 92bis
  • file amendments under PCT Article 19
  • file a Chapter II Demand

The session will consist exclusively of a live ePCT demonstration followed by a live Q&A. No presentation slides will be provided.

Good to know: session language and certificates

The webinar is presented in Russian and intended primarily for participants from CACEEC, though participants from other countries are welcome to attend.

Participants who attend the session can request a WIPO Certificate of Participation. To receive a certificate, please enter your first and last name in Russian when registering for the webinar. A WIPO IP Portal account is required to register. If you do not have a WIPO account, you can create one for free.
