Join WIPO’s Regional Webinar in Russian: “Introduction into the PCT System and the Latest Updates”

On February 19, 2026, WIPO’s PCT International Cooperation Division is hosting its latest regional webinar in Russian, titled “Introduction to the PCT System and the Latest Updates.”

Organized in cooperation with the Section for Caucasian, Central Asian and Eastern European Countries (CACEEC) and the WIPO Office in the Russian Federation, this free webinar is the first in a series of Russian-language PCT events scheduled for 2026.

Who should attend?  

The webinar is designed to introduce participants to the advantages and disadvantages various international patent protection mechanisms, including the advantages of and practical use of WIPO’s PCT System. It will cover:

  • main procedural stages of the PCT
  • availability of licences
  • third party observations
  • and more.

Participants also benefit from a briefing on the latest PCT statistics, including filing trends, top filers, technical fields with the highest numbers of PCT applications, as well as an overview of the latest developments in the PCT.

Good to know

The webinar is presented in Russian and is designed for participants from Caucasian, Central Asian and Eastern European Countries, although participants from other countries are welcome to attend. Please note that no translation services will be provided during the session.

Participants who attend the session may request a Certificate of Participation. To receive a certificate, please enter your first and last name in Russian when registering for the webinar.
