WIPO China: Themed Event on Intellectual Property for Enterprises Going Global at CIFTIS 2026

The WIPO Office in China and the Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office will jointly host the "Themed Event on Intellectual Property for Enterprises Going Global" at Shougang Park on the afternoon of September 9, 2026, under the theme "Global Services, Empowering Innovation".

This special event aims to bring together representatives from government departments, international organizations, judicial authorities, academic institutions, intellectual property service providers and innovative enterprises from China and abroad. The event will focus on key topics such as intellectual property strategies and risk prevention for enterprises going global, emerging trends in international intellectual property governance, innovation in intellectual property services in the digital and intelligent era, and trade in intellectual property services. It will provide a platform for in-depth discussions on building a full-chain intellectual property service ecosystem and supporting the high-quality international expansion of enterprises.

The themed event will be held in a hybrid format, combining online and in-person participation, and will feature opening remarks, keynote speeches, the release of outcomes and a high-level dialogue. Speakers from China and abroad will share insights under the topic "IP Services Empowering Enterprises Going Global: Challenges, Opportunities and Pathways".
