2026 Women and IP Symposium for IP and Innovation Offices

The Women and IP Symposium brings together representatives from IP and innovation offices, policymakers, innovators, and experts to share experiences, challenges, good practices and practical approaches for advancing women's participation in innovation and the IP ecosystem.

2026年“女性与知识产权”专题讨论会将于2026年5月11日至13日在产权组织总部和线上举行。本次活动建立在2025年由产权组织主办以及2023年和2024年由美国专利商标局（美国专商局）主办的往届活动所取得的成功之上，是该系列活动的第四届会议。

The Symposium is a key initiative, under WIPO’s Intellectual Property and Gender Action Plan (IPGAP), which provides a global platform for IP and innovation offices to exchange knowledge, strengthen capacities, and build partnerships in support of women and girls in innovation, creativity, and intellectual property.

Participants from these offices take part in a three-day program combining expert presentations, thematic discussions, practical case studies, and interactive workshops. The event explores priority areas for policymakers to consider when developing IP ecosystems that effectively support and increase women's use of IP, including:
