New Version of WIPO Standard ST.3 Published in December 2025
A revised WIPO Standard ST.3 (RECOMMENDED STANDARD ON TWO-LETTER CODES FOR THE REPRESENTATION OF STATES, OTHER ENTITIES INTERGOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS) was published on the WIPO website on 18 December 2025, taking effect from that date.
The main revisions include:
- The addition of a two-letter code ‘FM’ for Micronesia (Federated States of).
- Editorial corrections in the French and Spanish versions to improve accuracy and ensure consistency across all language versions.
The revised WIPO Standard ST.3 is available in the following languages:
