The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify that the Assembly of the Union for the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purposes of Patent Procedure (Budapest Union) adopted, on July 22, 2022, during its thirty-ninth (18th extraordinary) session held from July 14 to 22, 2022, amendments of the Regulations under the Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the purposes of Patent Procedure, done at Budapest on April 28, 1977, and amended on September 26, 1980. The amendments will enter into force on January 1, 2023.
Two certified copies of the said amendments of the Regulations under the Budapest Treaty are enclosed. (English, French)
