ملاحظات This consolidated version of the Patent Act takes into account amendments up to the "Canada–European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement Implementation Act (S.C. 2017, c. 6)", which entered into force on different dates. Sections 45 to 54 of the said amending Act S.C. 2017, c. 6 introduced amendments (in force on June 30, 2021) to a number of sections of this consolidated Patent Act (example including sections 2, 7(1), 12(1)(a), 12(1)(g) (French version only), 2(1)(j.8), 26, 29, 47. 47(2), 53(3), 55.2(4), etc.).
