ملاحظات This consolidated version of the Layout-Designs of Integrated Circuits Act 1999 incorporates all amendments up to the Courts (Civil and Criminal Justice) Reform Act 2021 (Act No. 25 of 2021), which entered into force on different dates.
Under Part 14 (Amendments to Other Acts), Section 149 of the said amending Act introduced amendments (effective from April 1, 2022) to Sections 14(2), 15(a), 16(1)(a), and 21(1)(a) of this consolidated version. In each case, the word “plaintiff” was deleted and replaced with the word “claimant.”
