The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify the deposit by the Government of the United Arab Emirates, on July 6, 2026, of its instrument of accession to the Locarno Agreement Establishing an International Classification for Industrial Designs, signed at Locarno on October 8, 1968, as amended on September 28, 1979 (Locarno Agreement).
The Locarno Agreement will enter into force, with respect to the United Arab Emirates, on October 6, 2026.
