The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify him of the receipt, on June 5, 1998, of a written communication, dated May 28, 1998, from the Government of the Kingdom of Belgium informing him of changes in the names of the Belgium Coordinated Collections of Microorganisms (BCCM), an international depositary authority under the Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purposes of Patent Procedure, done at Budapest on April 28, 1977, amended on September 26, 1980 (see Budapest Notifications No. 104 of February 12, 1992, and No. 117 of July 30, 1993).
The changes concerning the names of the said international depositary authority and its collections are:
- Belgium Coordinated Collections of Microorganisms (BCCMTM);
- Institut scientifique de la Santé publique - Louis Pasteur, Section Mycologie (BCCMTM/IHEM);
- Vakgroep voor Moleculaire Biologie - Plasmidencollectie (BCCMTM/LMBP);
- Laboratorium voor Microbiologie - Bacteriënverzameling (BCCMTM/LMG);
- Mycothèque de l'Université Catholique de Louvain (BCCMTM/MUCL).
