The webinar will feature initiatives of private companies using cutting-edge technologies to improve data management.||Imprimo is a Web3 double-sided platform for the visual arts that enables discovery through social connections while increasing transparency and trust across the art supply chain. Imprimo uses Web3 technology (blockchain, cryptographic signatures, verified IDs) to enhance trust around attribution and provenance of artistic works. Imprimo is the collective effort of organizations with an established record in the visual artists and rightsholder communities, namely Access Copyright, CARFAC, Copyright Visual Arts (COVA-DAAV) and Regroupement des artistes en arts visuels du Québec (RAAV).|Further innovation in copyright infrastructure will be presented by UREEQA, which provides a secure, proprietary, blockchain enabled platform to help any creator to protect, manage, and monetize their works worldwide.  Through secure online services, creators can easily access and choose from three levels of buildable protection that validate authorship, ownership, and originality of their works.  In addition, the platform contains a marketplace for creators to sell validated NFTs, and more.|In the digital era, more new music is created and released worldwide than ever before, and this has created a rapidly expanding group of new creators who do not always fit the existing structures of the industry. This was the motivation for Family In Music, which will present its services, including MgNTa, a new identifier in the music industry to support and empower the new generation of creators.

Accessibility Metadata: A panel discussion organized by the Accessible Books Consortium (ABC)

The objective of this webinar is to shed light on accessibility metadata. The publishing industry embeds accessibility metadata in e-books and other online publications to describe the features that facilitate the reading experience for people who are blind, have low vision or are otherwise print disabled. Four speakers will share their perspectives on how accessibility is being defined in international e-publishing standards, how metadata is embedded in publications, how libraries are using metadata to improve service to their users that are print disabled, and how these readers benefit from accessibility metadata. The webinar is organized by the Accessible Books Consortium (ABC).

La International Documentation on Audiovisual Works (IDA) y la gestión de los datos sobre derechos en el sector audiovisual

En este webinario se presentará la gestión de los datos sobre derechos en el sector audiovisual, incluido el índice International Documentation on Audiovisual Works (IDA). El índice IDA es una base de datos centralizada que facilita la localización de las obras audiovisuales y de los titulares de los derechos. El objetivo de la IDA es simplificar la localización de las obras audiovisuales de forma integrada a escala internacional y mejorar los intercambios de información transfronterizos a través de un OGC miembro en cada país. La IDA es una herramienta desarrollada por la Confederación Internacional de Sociedades de Autores y Compositores (CISAC) y gestionada por uno de los OGC franceses que son miembros de la CISAC, la Société des Auteurs et Compositeurs Dramatiques (SACD).
