New version of WIPO Standard ST.3 published
A revised version of WIPO Standard ST.3 was published on 26 August 2026, and entered into effect on that date.
WIPO Standards provide a globally recognized common framework for managing and processing IP information and documentation. Within this framework, WIPO Standard ST.3 sets out two-letter codes for the representation of States, other entities and intergovernmental organizations.
The latest version reflects a change in name in English, French and Spanish for Naoero and also corrects several inconsistencies in the French and Spanish translations of the Standard.
