What are IP Training Institutions?
The WIPO Academy helps member states set up Intellectual Property Training Institutions (IPTIs) and meet their local intellectual property training and skills-building needs in a scalable and cost-effective way. The IPTIs Program of the WIPO Academy supports member states by establishing new IPTIs, cooperating with the established IPTIs to enhance and amplify their services, and offering services and resources for all IPTIs to enhance their operational needs, such as networking spaces and training materials.
The establishment of two IP training centers in Algeria marks a milestone in the country’s journey towards institutionalizing IP education.
