On September 16, 2026, WIPO and the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) co-host a free webinar, "Patents and the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) for Women Innovators and Entrepreneurs".
The webinar is designed for women innovators, entrepreneurs, and inventors in the Philippines and the ASEAN region, though participants from all regions are welcome.
It explores the fundamentals of patents, how the PCT System can help protect an invention internationally, and provides an overview of the WIPO tools and support available to women innovators, including practical guidance on taking ideas to market through IP commercialization strategy.

This webinar is the fourth edition of an annual PCT awareness-raising series developed by WIPO in close partnership with IPOPHL and other IP Offices. Earlier editions address the PCT System and the Sustainable Development Goals in 2024, and PCT-based IP commercialization in 2025.
