WIPO’s flagship seminar on the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) is back. The 2025 edition of the Advanced Seminar on the PCT will be held at WIPO’s Geneva headquarters on October 13 and 14. The event offers participants the opportunity to deepen their understanding of WIPO’s international patent system by engaging directly with PCT experts.
What to expect
Organized and led by WIPO’s PCT legal specialists, this interactive seminar is designed for experienced PCT users and patent professionals looking to enhance their understanding of the PCT System. Attendees will gain insights into the latest developments in the PCT’s legal framework and processes, as well as best practices in the international, post-filing, and national-entry phases.
Presented in a hybrid format, the seminar will allow for both in-person and virtual participation on October 13. Those attending in-person will have the added benefit of a second day of learning on October 14, alongside the opportunity to network and exchange knowledge with WIPO experts, IP Office professionals, guest speakers and other industry practitioners.
