On July 1, 2026, amendments to the Regulations Under the Geneva Act (1999) of the Hague Agreement will enter into force, introducing the ability to record and update information about the creator of an industrial design in the International Register.

The amendments will introduce the ability to:
- Record a creator's name and address in the International Register, for any or all of the industrial designs, where no such information was previously included in the international registration; and
- Update a previously recorded creator's name and/or address in the International Register.
A dedicated new form (DM/10) has been created for these requests and will be available on the WIPO website starting July 1, 2026. Use of form DM/10 will be mandatory and submission could be made through the Hague Document Upload, accessible from the eHague interface.
The recording of these changes will be subject to the payment of the following fees:
- For one international registration: 144 Swiss francs
- For each additional international registration included in the same request: 72 Swiss francs
The recording of these changes will be published in the International Designs Bulletin.
